As well as physiotherapy and Pilates I also offer acupuncture as a form of therapy to help with many common conditions.
Acupuncture can be a wonderful tool to help reduce pain and discomfort in the body and promote the ability of the body to heal itself. The acupuncture I use is a based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which offers a fully holistic approach to any problem within the body.
Many people have found acupuncture to be an invaluable aid to their overall recovery.
Massage is another therapy that I use regularly. As well as using massage in day-to-day physiotherapy treatments I hold an ITEC Diploma in Therapeutic Massage. I can provide half or one hour sessions for sports massage.
Therapeutic Yoga is a wonderful way of learning to move better, improve strength, flexibility and fitness of both mind and body. I have completed my yoga training with the APPI institute which enables me to offer teaching of yoga poses to work with specific issues such as back pain, recovery from injury -in fact yoga can be used to treat most common musculo-skeletal injuries. I have practised yoga myself for the past 25 years on and off and will happily share my knowledge with you in 1:1 sessions.
