Physiotherapy services
Common problems I treat include sports injuries, back injuries, neck pain, headaches, knee pain, RSI and shoulder problems. I also see people for post-surgical rehabilitation for orthopaedic conditions such as hip and knee replacements, knee reconstruction surgery and any complicated fracture needing treatment.
All sessions would be with myself and I offer a completely confidential and caring professional approach to your treatment needs.
Physiotherapy treatment sessions begin with a full one hour assesment of your pain or injury. I take a detailed history of the problem along with a full assesment of your movement and posture as it in relates to your injury.
Once we have a good understanding of your needs, I will then begin hands-on treatment to help alleviate any pain and improve your function.
Following your initial assesment we can discuss whether any further treatment is required. Follow-up treatment sessions are 45 minutes duration and the focus is on reviewing progress and continuing hands-on therapy.
In all sessions I enjoy working with you to help you understand the nature of your injury/ problem and to encourage you to take an active role in your own recovery.
Please note that unfortunately I don't offer home visits to clients but I do offer remote sessions via Zoom for anyone that can't make it to the clinic and would like advice. This method of working began in Covid lockdown and has proved actually very successful -I usually follow the call up by sending out videos of any exercises we discussed so you can work at things at home.
